The owners of this apartment dream of a unique oasis overlooking a lake, designed in the spirit of an exclusive resort. Our architect has created two finishing concepts for them—both modern and full of class, yet with distinctly different characters. This juxtaposition showcases how materials, colours, and accessories shape the perception and ambiance of a space. Marble décor and stately palisander or organic patterns and paradise beige in a Japandi aesthetic? Which style better reflects the idea of a luxurious retreat by the water?

The first version embraces a more classically luxurious character. Dark wood, marble surfaces, and geometric, openwork lighting create an atmosphere of modern elegance. Mirrors enhance the sense of spaciousness by reflecting light and visually expanding the interior. Gold details and carefully selected textures emphasize the urban chic feel.

The second version exudes tranquility and natural harmony. Light wood, woven lamps, and materials inspired by organic textures give it a serene, almost meditative character. Shades of beige and subtle accessories envelop the space with softness, while abstract stone tile patterns add dynamic energy to the muted kitchen, giving it an artistic touch.
