A Boho Sanctuary with a Feminine Soul
Subtle and Natural
This Warsaw apartment celebrates the boho style with a gentle nod to nature. The palette is grounded in earthy tones – soft beiges, creamy whites and warm timber – brought to life with the lush green of houseplants, adding a sense of freshness and authenticity. What makes this interior stand out is its carefully considered layout. Like in nature, daylight takes centre stage. To make the most of the sun, the architect reversed the original positions of the bedroom and kitchen. This shift allowed the living and dining areas to bask in natural light, while the bedroom moved to a quieter, shaded part of the home – its cosy feel enriched by handcrafted accents and soft, muted lighting

“The client was keen to avoid a living room with just one window and a dark, tucked-away kitchen. Together, it was decided to swap the two spaces – giving the bedroom more light, which it doesn’t need as much, and creating a bright, open-plan living area with direct access to the balcony from both the kitchen and lounge.”

Redesigning the layout was only one of the challenges faced by the Deer Design and Deer Wood team. To conceal the air conditioning system, the ceiling was lowered and seamlessly incorporated into the custom joinery, turning a technical necessity into an integral feature of the interior.
