An Urban Loft Reborn
A Forgotten Space, Reimagined
This project involved a comprehensive refurbishment of a secondary-market flat, with almost every element redesigned from scratch. The layout was restructured, floors, furniture and built-in cabinetry were replaced, and standard radiators gave way to decorative models. The lighting was also completely redesigned, and a modern air conditioning system was introduced.
A cohesive palette of graphite, anthracite and soft greys gives the interior a distinctive, masculine edge, perfectly reflecting the owner’s taste and lifestyle. The result is a contemporary take on loft living with subtle urban art influences – mature, consistent and full of metropolitan energy.

The living area was opened up and visually enlarged by removing the kitchen island. In its place, the windowsill was extended to serve as a dining table. The kitchen, finished in dark cabinetry with a stone backdrop, flows seamlessly into the lounge. The owner is passionate about urban art and collects DVDs and books, so wall-mounted laminate shelving was installed in both the living room and the bedroom to store and showcase his prized pieces. A bold street art–inspired graphic completes the artistic, city-driven character of the space.
“At the owner’s request – as he rarely cooks – the kitchen island was removed and the windowsill extended to function as a table. This allowed the living area to feel more open and visually spacious.

The bathroom also underwent a full transformation – from new large-format tiles and bespoke cabinetry to a minimalist walk-in shower that enhances the sense of space.
In the hallway, a wall-to-wall built-in wardrobe makes the most of the limited space.
The bedroom continues the graphite narrative, creating a calm and ordered backdrop for both the collection and everyday relaxation.
