A Bright Hamptons Interior with a Lakeside Setting

Despite being far from the ocean, this interior carries a clear hint of the Atlantic breeze. The lakeside holiday home draws inspiration from the coastal estates of Long Island, where luxury meets comfort and a relaxed, holiday mindset. A high ceiling and large windows create the perfect setting for the Hamptons style, in which space and natural light play a central role.
The design is built around a light, muted colour palette inspired by classic nautical tones. Whites and soft beiges are paired with cool blues and finished with navy accents. Natural materials such as wood, rattan, wicker and jute warm the interior and give it a more relaxed feel, softening the clean lines with tactile textiles. Luxury appears here in a subtle way – through carefully selected materials and the overall harmony of the space.

This is an interior designed for spending time together. The open-plan living area encourages shared moments, while the fireplace and comfortable furniture create the feeling of a safe harbour – inspired by the Hamptons lifestyle, yet adapted for everyday living.

In this project, simple forms and a light colour palette were used to bring elegance and highlight the sense of space. Soft textiles and natural materials break that elegance, giving the interior a lighter, more relaxed, holiday character.”
