Mint, dark walnut and iconic design

This apartment was designed for a client with a love for townhouse charm, natural timber veneers, and soft pastel blues and greens. These preferences shaped the entire concept: built-in cabinetry and furniture in fresh mint tones are paired with rich walnut veneer. To avoid an overly sweet effect, the soft palette is contrasted with bold cobalt accents running throughout the interior. The composition is finished with elegant touches – marble surfaces, subtle lighting, and a wooden floor in the traditional herringbone pattern.

One of the project’s highlights is the corridor, with its irregular shape. The architect chose to accentuate it using a wallpaper inspired by Ettore Sottsass’s iconic 1980s ALPI veneer design. It’s not only a nod to the client’s aesthetic tastes but also a clever way to symbolically divide the living and private zones.
